Job summary

Cyrad is seeking a Software Application Engineer to join an early-stage tech team building software for high-impact environments. You will design and implement core application functionality from idea to production, with backend in Python and frontend in React/TS.

The role involves containerization, CI/CD using GitHub Actions, and operating in a hybrid/remote setup across DC/NYC/SF. The candidate should have strong engineering fundamentals, production Python experience, and the ability to own

Qualifications

• Proven backend Python development experience.
• Ability to contribute across a full-stack app.
• Experience delivering production-grade software used by others.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core application functionality from concept to production.
• Develop backend services and application logic in Python.
• Build frontend with React, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Design APIs and data flows connecting the app.
• Containerize software and prepare for production deployment.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern delivery infra.
• Build GitHub deployment workflows, including CI/CD.
• Troubleshoot across app, infra, and deployment boundaries.
• Own technical problems as requirements evolve.
