Job summary
HDR is seeking a Software Analyst I to help define, prioritize, and support the delivery of software solutions that provide business value. This role partners with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, quality engineers, and end users to understand business needs, document requirements, and support product delivery activities.
The Software Analyst I develops an understanding of product planning, Agile delivery, and requirements management while helping teams improve business
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience supporting design and development of enterprise applications.
- Active participant in employee-owned culture.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes, user needs, and product goals.
- Gather, document, and clarify business and functional requirements.
- Assist in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, wireframes, and other solution documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support Product Owners and delivery teams with backlog organization and requirements clarification.
- Help evaluate enhancement requests and document business value.
- Support testing and user acceptance activities.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation to improve business processes and user experiences.
- Learn and apply product management, requirements management, and Agile delivery best practices.
