Motion Recruitment partnered opportunity for a Software Engineer role focused on building the core AI platform and autonomous laboratory systems. You will work across backend services, data pipelines, and production infrastructure, shaping resilient, scalable software in a technically demanding environment.

You will collaborate with software, robotics, ML, and automation teams, owning features end-to-end, and learning new technologies as needed.

Competenze

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and production software experience.
• Experience with Python, Go, or Rust for backend development.
• Familiarity with concurrent and asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of distributed systems challenges and production debugging.
• Experience designing or operating fault-tolerant systems with idempotency and safe rollback.
• Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving to improve quality.

Mansioni

• Build agent capabilities and tools, including API integrations and code execution.
• Develop scientific workflow orchestration for processes
• Implement retries, idempotency, and safeguards for workflows.
• Build pipelines to ingest, store, and transform data for models and LLMs.
• Create internal developer platforms, tooling, and shared services.
• Develop observability and reliability systems with logs, metrics, tracing.
• Support hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments.
