Job summary

Nextmark is seeking a Software AI Engineer to drive government initiatives and contribute to the company\'s AI infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of applied AI research and production-grade deployment, utilizing LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent systems.

You will design scalable AI solutions for government clients, architect AI-driven platforms, and develop robust APIs and pipelines with a focus on secure, enterprise-grade delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI techniques.
• Expertise in Python development, REST API design, and secure coding principles.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS GovCloud and familiarity with other government cloud offerings (Google GovCloud, Azure IL5+).
• Demonstrated ability to work with AI platforms such as OpenAI Enterprise, Anthropic for Gov, Gemini Enterprise, and Grok Enterprise.
• Strong background in building and maintaining robust data pipelines and ontologies.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices for deploying production AI/ML systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions for government clients at scale.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to architect AI-driven platforms focusing on RAG, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions for government clients, ensuring robust and secure implementation at scale.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to architect and enhance AI-driven platforms, focusing on RAG, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent workflows.
• Develop and maintain APIs, SDK integrations, and scalable pipelines, utilizing Python and RESTful best practices.

• Note: First few months will be Hybrid/Onsite working on government projects in Washington, D.C. Once it gets over, remote with micro1 team.
