Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC seeks a Softgel Operator II for the 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12:00am) to maintain continuous softgel encapsulation in a GMP environment. You will document batch records, monitor in-process checks, and ensure proper labeling, cleanliness and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in pharma manufacturing (or 3+ if without HS). Strong reading, math, and mechanical skills are essential; forklift operation is a plus and OSHA respirator fit testing is

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with job terminology understanding.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal procedures or instructions.
• Basic math and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% cGMP and complete operation documentation in batch records.
• Perform in-process checks: weight, shell/fill weights, defects, cleanliness, labeling.
• Ensure PPE usage and proper dress code; monitor temp/humidity and report anomalies.
• Operate softgel encapsulation machine per batch specs and calibrate scales as needed.
• Maintain equipment lubrication levels and identify gelatin/fill material before encapsulation.
• Abide by company rules and perform additional duties as needed.
