Job summary

Pharmavite in California is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator (Softgel) to operate encapsulation equipment and ensure production of high-quality soft gelatin capsules that meet defined specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED or 5 years of work equivalency, with 1 year encapsulation experience or 4–6 months training. Candidates must read and write English, document results, and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 5 years of work equivalency.
• Minimum 1 year encapsulation/related machine experience or 4–6 months training in this role under supervision.
• Fluent English reading/writing and ability to document results.

Responsibilities

• Operate encapsulation equipment to production standards.
• Adjust controls with hand tools and monitor process quality parameters.
• Maintain logs and records; input data into computer systems.
• Perform changeovers and cleaning per procedures; ensure safe operation.
• Move and transport materials and finished products within the department.
• Follow safety rules and GMP compliance at all times.
