Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking a Night Shift Machine Operator (Softgel) in California to operate encapsulation equipment and ensure quality soft gelatin capsules meet specifications.

You will monitor equipment, perform changeovers, and complete setup for each batch while maintaining logs and safety practices. A HS diploma and 1 year encapsulation experience are typical requirements; overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED or 5 years of work equivalency.
• Experience: 1 year encapsulation or similar machine operation; 4–6 months training.
• Fluent English reading/writing and problem communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate encapsulation equipment to ensure quality softgel production.
• Monitor ribbon thickness, temperature, and finished product specs.
• Perform changeovers, cleaning, and assembly for new batches.
• Enter data and maintain logs; troubleshoot equipment issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety rules and good manufacturing practices.
