The role emphasizes teaching character, self-discipline and teamwork, with strict adherence to all governing rules. The coach will supervise student participants, coordinate with the Activities Director, and ensure compliance with safety and eligibility procedures before practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota coaching license or NFICEP certification preferred.
• Strong background and expertise in the activity area.
• Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.
• Maintains active membership in related professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for team success while fostering moral values and self-discipline.
• Enforce all relevant rules and policies of leagues and associations.
• Manage required forms, medical clearances and eligibility documents before practices.
• Cooperate with administration, directors and staff to support the activities program.
• Plan, schedule and supervise all practice sessions and coordinate duties with assistant coaches.
