Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Soft and Virtual ECU engineer to join a global SW-driven engineering team. You will help build the next generation of virtual ECUs (xIL) for vehicle controller testing and work across ADAS, energy, E-powertrain, and connected services.

You will collaborate with SW and test engineers in a modern agile setting, applying automated testing first to challenge design and architecture from day one, while contributing to continuous design verification and deployment in

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience with virtual test platforms (MIL/SIL/HIL) in automotive apps is preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and model-based development tools (MATLAB/SIMULINK).
• Strong understanding of embedded software (C/C++) and AUTOSAR architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop virtual test platforms (xIL) for next-generation vehicle controller testing.
• Create virtual ECUs at multiple levels and integrate with toolchains.
• Contribute to open-loop/closed-loop testing across ADAS, EV, and powertrain domains.
• Collaborate with SW development/test teams in an agile environment.
• Advance automation, virtualization, and CI/CD adoption across the xIL lifecycle.
