Job summary

iQ Sig is seeking a Program Analyst to provide expert-level policy and program analysis for the DoW’s OASW Training and Education Section. The role split duties between LREC policy work and other SOF training policy matters, including assessment and staffing in a high-tempo DoW environment.

The candidate will draft DoW policy documents, assemble staffing packages, coordinate with multiple offices, and prepare concise reports for senior officials, while supporting Congressional inquiries and

Qualifications

• SOF background with 10+ years in the SOF community.
• 5–7 years supporting the Department of War, with 3+ years in a headquarters environment.
• Hands-on staffing process and official correspondence.
• Ability to translate complex SOF training challenges into policy documents.
• Active TOP SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and edit DoW policy documents and Instructions.
• Prepare staffing packages for senior OSW officials.
• Coordinate policy comments with OSW, Joint Staff, military departments, and USSOCOM.
• Monitor policy changes and summarize potential impact on SOF.
• Draft responses to Congressional RFIs and prepare briefing materials.
• Conduct programmatic reviews of SOF training standards and ranges.
• Synchronize IW training efforts across enterprise.
• Capture detailed notes and track actions at high-level policy meetings.
