Job summary

Rigid Tactical seeks a Station Technical Operations Specialist to support SOF exercise environments. You will deploy and maintain specialized comms, EW, and intel collection systems in expeditionary settings, coordinating with SOF units and EXCON to simulate multi-domain operations.

The role requires extensive hands-on ops experience, TOPS-certified training, and proficiency with RF, SDRs, and secure networks. Clearance and strict OT/OPSEC discipline apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SOF/IC/Defense tech ops experience.
• Graduate of the DIA TOPS course.
• Proven expertise in RF signature management and tactical power systems.
• Experience with UAS/C-UAS, EW detection, or cyber-tactical tools.
• Familiarity with MDMP / SOF planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and maintain field equipment in expeditionary environments.
• Conduct TSCM and RF spectrum sweeps to ensure SCIF integrity.
• Interface with EXCON and SOF elements to plan injects.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting under high-stress conditions.
• Deliver SITREPs and post-exercise debriefs to leadership.
• Maintain COMSEC material and payload configurations.
• Perform pre-mission checks and routine maintenance.
