Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Special Operations Strength and Conditioning Specialist for HQ AFSOC/Hurlburt Field, FL. This onsite role focuses on maximizing SOF physical performance through advanced training protocols and injury prevention.

The candidate will design, implement, and assess conditioning programs, coordinate with HP staff, and mentor personnel including those TDY/ deployed. US citizenship and DoD clearance are required; relocation is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an exercise science/health science/physical education discipline.
• CSCS or CSCCa certification required and maintained.
• Minimum 5 years designing and coordinating performance programs for athletes/SOF.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and eligible for DoD clearance.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly in English; CPR/AED certified.

Responsibilities

• Design, administer, evaluate and document physical training protocols.
• Coordinate training with HP staff for safe return after injury.
• Develop PT programs for TDY/TAD or deployed personnel.
• Demonstrate exercises and injury avoidance guidance.
• Refer undiagnosed medical conditions to medical providers.
• Assist in creating SOPs and training protocols for equipment use.
• Participate in meetings to review programs and identify improvements.
• Attend in-service trainings for HP/POTFF staff and maintain certifications.
• Perform administrative duties: records, education programs, QA tasks.
• Develop training materials as requested by HP Coordinator.
• Assist with HP supply inventories and needs.
• Utilize required software/computers for HP program needs.
