Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Strength and Conditioning Specialist to lead HP/POTFF initiatives for U.S. Special Operations Command.

You will design and evaluate training programs, ensure safe execution, and contribute to data-driven performance improvements for SOF personnel. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an exercise science-related field, NSCA CSCS or CSCCA certification, and at least five years of experience; CPR/AED certification is required; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an exercise science/health science/physical education-related discipline.
• NSCA CSCS or CSCCA certification.
• Minimum five years of related performance-program experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and administer strength and conditioning protocols for SOF personnel.
• Design, implement, evaluate, and document physical training programs.
• Coordinate training with HP staff to ensure safe return to training after injury.
• Demonstrate exercises and provide injury-prevention guidance.
• Refer personnel with medical conditions to appropriate medical providers.
• Develop and maintain training materials and facility SOPs.
