Battelle Memorial Institute in Florida is seeking a full-time Strength and Conditioning Specialist to support U.S. Special Operations Command.

You will design and administer strength and conditioning protocols to optimize SOF personnel performance, focusing on safe training and injury prevention, and coordinating with the USSOCOM POTFF program. The role involves creating individualized training programs, instructing exercise techniques, reporting program data, and ensuring facility safety.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline.
• NSCA CSCS or CSCCA certification.
• At least five years of experience developing performance programs for athletes or SOF personnel.
• Current CPR with AED certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance.
• Physically capable to demonstrate exercises and hike in austere environments.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and administer strength and conditioning protocols to maximize SOF performance.
• Design, implement, evaluate, and document individualized training programs.
• Instruct on exercise techniques and injury prevention.
• Coordinate with HP staff to ensure safe return to training after injury.
• Maintain facility safety and equipment standards and document data as required.

Educación

Bachelor’s Degree in exercise science / health science / physical education-related discipline

NSCA CSCS or CSCCA Certification

CPR with AED certification

5+ years experience in performance programs for athletes/SOF

Master’s degree in exercise science / health science (preferred)
