Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Homestead ARB, FL, is seeking a Special Operations Strength and Conditioning Specialist to design and administer conditioning programs to maximize SOF personnel performance, with a focus on Operators and Direct Combat Support.

The role requires US citizenship, DoD clearance, a CSCS or CSCCa certification, a relevant bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of program experience, English fluency, CPR/AED, and the ability to work in austere environments. On-site duties at Homestead ARB.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited exercise science/health science/PE-related field.
• CSCS or CSCCa certification required (ongoing maintenance).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in performance programming for athletes/SOF.
• Fluent English (oral and written).
• CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and instruct physical training, exercises, movements, and injury prevention.
• Design, implement, evaluate, and document SOF training programs in various settings.
• Coordinate training with HP staff to ensure safe return to training after injury.
• Refer medical concerns to providers and collaborate with sports medicine and nutrition teams.
• Develop facility SOPs and training materials; manage equipment safety and usage.
• Maintain records of utilization, workload, and training quality assurance.
