Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Special Operations Performance Dietitian to provide guidance and counseling on nutritional practices to enhance recovery and optimize performance for SOF personnel at JFKSWCS Ft. Bragg, NC.

This role involves designing performance nutrition programs, developing rehab and performance protocols, advising dining facilities, and collaborating with HP program leadership to integrate new guidelines, with relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

This position requires US Citizenship.
Security clearance (Secret) is required or the ability to obtain one.
Master’s degree in Nutrition Science or related field.
Registered Dietitian (RD) with ADA certification and CSSD specialization; CSSD within six months if not already held.
Current and valid state licensure; clinical privileges may be required.
Minimum 3 years as a Performance Dietitian with athletes in NCAA/olympic/professional/SOF contexts.

Responsibilities

Provide nutrition planning, counseling, and documentation guided by peer-reviewed literature.
Advise the chain of command on nutrition and performance topics.
Design and implement performance nutrition programs for SOF personnel in various settings.
Collaborate with HP program Manager/Coordinator on new protocols and guidelines.
Serve as dining facility nutrition advisor and liaison between food service and command.
Maintain records and ensure training compliance and education materials are available.
