Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks an Special Operations Operational Psychologist to provide clinical and operational psychology services for SOF units, develop resiliency programs, and lead assessments to maximize readiness in high-stakes environments.

The role requires a psychology doctorate, APA-accredited internship, U.S. citizenship, and active licensure. Travel, security clearances, and high-level coordination with military leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program.
• Internship/Residency in psychology approved by APA.
• US citizenship and current psychology license in U.S. state/territory.
• Experience in operational psychology and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychology services and operational guidance for SOF readiness.
• Develop resiliency programs, conduct assessments, and provide executive coaching.
• Perform neuropsychological screening, data analysis, and trend monitoring.
• Manage referrals, provide crisis response, and support leadership with feedback.
• Represent program in unit-level operations and ensure credentialing compliance.
