Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient behavioral health settings.
• Ability to conduct intake interviews and assist with patient care.
• Evidence of applying behavioral health interventions under supervision.
• Strong data collection and report preparation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management and treatment of outpatient behavioral health activities.
• Under supervision of licensed professionals, provide behavioral health interventions from prevention to treatment.
• Conduct intakes and assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients, and counsel clients.
• Work independently to perform standard and nonstandard work assignments and resolve problems.
• Define objectives, priorities, and deadlines; guide assignments without clear precedents.
• Use judgment to select appropriate guidelines for the task.
• Refer unusual matters to the Government supervisor.
• Observe patients to detect behavior patterns and report to licensed staff.
• Lead prescribed individual or group therapy sessions under supervision.
• Complete initial intake interviews and forms for new patients on behalf of licensed providers.
• Conduct intake interviews under supervision of licensed professionals.
• Administer psychological tests and prepare reports under supervision of licensed staff.
• Populate and maintain databases for units and training statistics.
• Prepare daily correspondence and clinical appointments.
• Maintain monthly statistical data for active-duty personnel addressed by services.
• Assist in developing operating instructions and identify inefficiencies.
• Ensure program operations stay within budget.
