Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute is seeking a Psychological/Mental Health Technician to support the U.S. Special Operations Command program, focusing on POTFF initiatives that enhance mission readiness and performance of SOF personnel and their families.

The role involves outpatient behavioral health activities, intake interviews, assisting with patient care, and leading therapeutic sessions under licensed supervision, along with data collection, reporting, and coordinating meetings to ensure

Qualifications

• Associate degree or commensurate level of training for a psychiatric technician.
• At least three years’ experience as a psychiatric technician.
• Possess knowledge of psychology and/or social work.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management and treatment of outpatient behavioral health activities.
• Provide a wide range of behavioral health interventions under supervision.
• Conduct intakes and assist with care for psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
