Job summary

QinetiQ US seeks a skilled Liaison Officer to facilitate communication between US Military Special Operations Forces and key Department of State stakeholders. The role bridges civilian, military, and external partners to support readiness and mission objectives.

Responsibilities include processing country clearance messages, attending meetings, preparing briefings, and presenting information critical to decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 8 years of military service.
• 5 years of special operations experience.
• Deep understanding of special operations structure, operations, and protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in liaison, public affairs, or operations staff officer roles.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse groups.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other communication tools.
• TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between Special Operations Forces, Department of State, and agencies.
• Attend and represent SOF interests at meetings and forums.
• Prepare and present briefings, reports, and updates to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain partnerships.
• Assist in resolving conflicts between parties.
• Ensure compliance with SOF policies and regulatory requirements.
