Job summary

Sigma Defense is seeking a Liaison Officer to join the United States Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) team at Camp Lejeune, NC. The LNO will integrate emerging technologies, advise TSOC staff, and support rapid fielding of capabilities to SOF.

Role requires extensive SOF experience, MARSOC familiarity, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI averaging travel up to 25%. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of prior service in Special Operations (E7+ or O3+ equivalent preferred).
• Experience within MARSOC.
• Strong technical understanding of SOF formations, systems, networks, and acquisition principles.
• Must be capable of traveling up to 25% of the time.
• Candidate must possess an active TS clearance; SCI clearance ability preferred, clearance not sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary liaison between the Command and CD&I for SOF capability integration.
• Manage relationships between customer and contract personnel; ensure schedules are met.
• Support capability development activities to meet emergent operational needs within the COCOM AOR.
• Develop and refine technical and operational requirements for SOF capability gaps.
• Coordinate technology assessments, evaluations, and leadership visits across classified/unclassified channels.
