Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute seeks a dedicated Community Program Peer Network Coordinator Component Headquarters Advisor to support the POTFF program for SOF personnel and families. This role partners with USSOCOM and CPPNCs to advance community mentoring and reduce stigma around help-seeking.

Responsibilities include coordinating programs across services, providing training to mentors, and delivering formal reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, human/social services or related field.
• Four years' experience coordinating social service education programs.
• Prior training or willingness to receive training on peer support counseling, community resources and suicide prevention.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for USSOCOM and advisor for Component CPPNCs.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate and monitor mentoring programs to support service members and families.
• Advise on policy and procedural reviews of region-wide community programs.
• Coordinate with Echelon III commands and other service representatives.
• Provide training and consultation to peer mentors and CPPNCs.
• Prepare formal reports for force-wide and regional feedback.
