Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute seeks a highly motivated, full-time Community Program Peer Network Coordinator Component Headquarters Advisor to support the POTFF program for the U.S. Special Operations Command.

The role leads assessment, planning, implementation, and improvement of community and peer mentoring to enhance service member and family well‑being and reduce stigma and suicides. The CPPNC-CHA coordinates with services, DoD, and civilian partners, provides training to mentors, and delivers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services or related field
• At least four years’ experience coordinating social service education programs
• Willingness to receive specialized training on peer support counseling and suicide prevention
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison for USSOCOM and advisor for Component CPPNCs
• Plan, implement and monitor community and peer mentoring programs to improve quality of life
• Advise on policy and procedural reviews for regional and component programs
• Assess needs and evaluate efficacy with partner commands
• Coordinate with Service representatives and DoD/civilian staff to align programs
• Train Peer mentors and CPPNCs across components and HQ
• Prepare formal force-wide and regional programmatic reports
