Job summary

KBR is seeking a Special Operations Clinician Psychologist to deliver expert clinical services and operational psychology guidance for special operations forces. The role supports resiliency, assessments and treatment within a military context, with required security clearance considerations.

Relocation is offered; successful candidates will carry an APA-aligned internship/residency, licensure, and citizenship requirements.

Qualifications

• Position requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Secret Clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Internship/Residency in psychology accredited by the APA.
• Minimum of two years peer-reviewed clinical work in a mental health setting.
• Current, active, unrestricted psychology licensure in a U.S. state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and initiate resiliency programs for preventing and treating behavioral health issues to support service members' readiness and resiliency.
• Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews, testing, and collateral information as appropriate.
• Practice within licensing board guidelines, APA Ethics, and facility privileges.
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses per DSM and provide individual and group psychological treatments, including rehabilitation support.
