Job summary

Aims Community College's Early College Academy seeks a Part-time faculty member to deliver high school and college-level instruction under the Early College program. You will align curriculum with program goals, participate in student outcomes assessment, and support concurrent enrollment initiatives across courses.

The role requires a Master’s in sociology or related field with appropriate graduate credits, K-12 teaching experience, and comfort with educational technology.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in sociology OR Master’s degree including 18 graduate level credit hours in sociology or closely related field.
• K-12 teaching experience.
• Experience with concurrent enrollment or dual enrollment programs.
• Experience using technology in the classroom, or teaching online.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective, high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum and program goals.
• Refine and update curriculum to meet high standards.
• Use technology to enhance student learning and deliver online instruction if needed.
• Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
