Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our full-time school-based team in Colorado Springs, CO. You will support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success while creating a positive learning environment.

As a School Social Worker, you will collaborate with students, families, educators, and community partners to identify barriers to learning and provide counseling and resources to promote well-being and achievement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• State licensure or certification required by state/district
• CDE SW certification
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Knowledge of special education processes and behavioral interventions

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Conduct assessments and identify barriers affecting learning
• Develop and implement intervention plans to support student success
• Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, psychologists, counselors, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP, 504, MTSS, and student support team meetings
• Connect students and families with school and community resources
• Monitor progress and maintain case notes and reports
• Support attendance initiatives and social-emotional learning programs
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

• Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and community agencies
