Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our full-time school-based team in Inglewood, CA. This role focuses on supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success within a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure and PPS credential.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
• Knowledge of special education processes and MTSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Conduct assessments and help identify barriers impacting student learning and school participation.
• Develop and implement intervention plans to support student success.
• Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution services as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, psychologists, counselors, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP, 504, MTSS, and student support team meetings as appropriate.
• Connect students and families with school and community resources.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation.
• Support attendance initiatives, behavioral interventions, and social-emotional learning programs.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding student services.

As a School Social Worker, you will collaborate with students, families, educators, and community partners to identify barriers to learning, provide counseling and support services, and connect students with resources that promote educational achievement and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure
• PPS credential
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Knowledge of special education processes, behavioral interventions, and student support services
• Strong communication, collaboration, crisis intervention, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and community agencies
