Scottish Rite for Children in Frisco, TX is seeking a Social Worker for a PRN, part-time role in the Ambulatory Surgical Center. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in health care social work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, identify resources and referrals, assist with discharge planning, and advocate between patient and systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of child development related to diagnosis, assessment, intervention, and referral of children and adolescents to community agencies.
• Document information in the medical record according to department standards.
• Maintain knowledge of referral sources and community resources in Texas.
