Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Social Worker MSW 1 in Temple, TX to educate and advise patients and families facing emotional or physical challenges. The role follows the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners' scope and coordinates crisis intervention, bereavement support, referrals, prevention, education, discharge planning, and psychosocial assessments.

You will partner with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans, provide education, and act as a patient

Qualifications

• MSW required with TX licensure eligibility or current licensure.
• Experience in hospital social work and discharge planning preferred.
• Licensure through the Texas Board is required (LCSW/LMSW/LMSW-AP or equivalent).

• Conduct psycho-social assessments and document needs of patients and families.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with patient- and family-education components.
