Job summary

Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, the nation’s oldest private psychiatric hospital, is seeking a Social Worker to provide quality psychotherapeutic and discharge planning services across all patient populations and their families. The role involves assessment, group treatment, family work, and discharge planning within an interdisciplinary team that supports the hospital’s treatment program and philosophy.

This is a Full-Time position with one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Human Service field (e.g. Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).

• Conduct assessment, group treatment, family work, and discharge planning.
