Job summary

Clarion Psychiatric Center is recruiting a Social Worker to provide clinical social work services consistent with NASW guidelines. You will perform psychosocial assessments, facilitate individual, group, and family therapy, and lead the development of the master treatment plan.

You will collaborate with the treatment team to set measurable goals and coordinate discharge and ongoing care plans with other agencies involved in the patient's care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or above is required.
• LCSW or LSW licensure preferred.
• At least one year of inpatient hospitalization work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services aligned with NASW guidance.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients' mental health.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy as assigned.
• Participate on the treatment team and lead master treatment plan development.
• Develop realistic short- and long-term goals for patients.
• Coordinate discharge and continuing care plans with involved agencies.

Responsibilities

Clarion Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting for a Social Worker. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Clarion Psychiatric Center and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient's mental health; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan; developing realistic and measurable short and long term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.
