The State of Nevada's Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is recruiting a Social Worker 1 in Reno to support Adult Protective Services (APS) and House & Community Base Services - Supportive Services (HBCS). This trainee pathway may advance to Social Worker 2 or 3 with endorsement and performance.

Responsibilities include eligibility determinations, care planning, home visits, documentation, and coordination with other agencies to meet the needs of vulnerable adults and families, while

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Social Worker is required.
• Experience with at-risk adults and vulnerable populations is preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Responsabilités

• Assess and reassess client needs and eligibility for services.
• Develop and implement care plans with coordination across agencies.
• Perform home visits and document progress using case management software.
• Investigate reports of abuse or neglect and coordinate protective services.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and families.
• Maintain accurate case histories and prepare required reports.
