BronxWorks in the Bronx, NY is seeking a Social Worker to join our team as part of our commitment to helping individuals and families improve their economic and social well-being. The role focuses on direct client services, counseling, and coordination with a broad network of social service providers.

Qualified candidates hold a New York State LMSW license and have strong English skills; Spanish is a plus. The position requires strong computer and communication abilities and offers opportunities

Competenze

• New York State LMSW license is required.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, email, voicemail and copier equipment.

Mansioni

• Provide direct services including engagement, intake, assessment, service plan development, referral, advocacy, therapeutic counseling, reassessment, and exit summaries.
• Monitor and document client progress toward service plan goals; document all interactions with clients.
• Provide group counseling as assigned by the Program Director.
• Coordinate client services with mental health, medical, employment, educational and other social service providers.
• Review and sign off on service plans and psychosocial assessments as assigned.
• Complete program reports and participate in program-related projects.
