The social worker for the blind will provide Independent Living Services and Medical Eye Care, and specialized services for blind and visually impaired consumers of all ages living in Rutherford and Polk Counties. The social worker for the blind provides services to assist consumers in becoming or remaining independent by teaching techniques and methods of daily living skills, personal care, home management and self-advocacy. The social worker for the blind works closely with other professionals and resources to assist consumers in attaining and maintaining their highest level of self-sufficiency.
Salary Grade Range: $ 45,431.00 - $ 79,504.00
Recruitment Range: $ 45,431.00 - $ 62,458.00
