Job Summary:

The Functional Family Therapist is responsible for providing weekly, home-based family therapy sessions to clients. The therapist must maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions:

1. Manage assigned caseloads.
2. Provide home-based functional family therapy.
3. Participate actively as part of the therapy team.
4. Engage in ongoing FFT training and consultation.
5. Refer families to appropriate services and supports.
6. Assist families with clinical and concrete services.
7. Maintain records and perform accountability tasks.
8. Ensure regular and punctual attendance.

Other Functions:

React productively to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field, with two years' experience in children and family services.
• Licensed or license-eligible (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.).
• Certified in or experienced with Functional Family Therapy.
• Willing to work in clients' homes and flexible with working hours.
• Strong interpersonal and clinical skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions to family strengths.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and clean driving record.
• Clear criminal background check and drug screen.

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Previous FFT and court experience.

Physical Demands:

Ability to obtain First Aid (CPR), and perform physical activities such as driving, sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Work Environment:

Daily client contact in homes and community settings, including evenings and nights. Remote work required. Must maintain confidentiality and a productive work environment. Vehicle maintenance and weather exposure may be necessary.
