Master's Level Mental Health Outpatient Therapist, Counselor or Social Worker - Zone 10 & 11

Position: Master’s Level Mental Health Therapist, Counselor or Social Worker

Salary: Up to $85,500 per year, depending on experience, certifications, and secondary languages

Stipend: $2,400 Orientation Training Stipend

Role Overview

As a clinician, you will provide individual and family therapy to a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Most sessions are conducted in person, with some telehealth options for flexibility.

Services are mainly in the community, with no requirement to work in an office for administrative tasks or supervision, as everything is managed online or onsite with clients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and determine clients' mental health needs across various ages and diagnoses
• Conduct and document screenings, assessments, progress notes, and referrals
• Provide community-based services, primarily in person, with some telehealth
• Use evidence-based practices to improve clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community resources
• Communicate treatment plans and progress to clients and families
• Offer individual and family therapy focusing on coping skills, stress reduction, and caregiver support

Candidate Requirements

• Must reside in Florida
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution
• Strong organizational and time management skills; flexible to meet client scheduling needs
• Ability to work in various community settings and utilize self-care techniques
• Compassionate, engaging, and committed to helping others
• Proficiency in documenting services in EMR platforms
• Degrees or majors in related fields such as Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, Forensic Psychology, etc., with transcripts showing relevant coursework
