Responsible for assessing, counseling, referral and supportive services to patients and their families in a manner consistent with professional standards and institutional mission and policies. Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals and other staff to ensure the quality of care given. Provides care for the adult or geriatric patient (as defined in the unit scope of care). Utilizes knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient’s age to ensure that psychosocial needs of the patient are met. Involves appropriate parties (i.e. patient’s family or guardian, outside agencies) in the psychosocial care of the patient as needed.
Pay Range: $34.07 - $52.84 per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
