Job summary

The Indian Health Service is seeking a Social Worker to provide professional social work services to American Indian communities. You will conduct biopsychosocial and mental health assessments, formulate diagnostic impressions, and respond to crises across clinical, community, and emergent settings.

You will also deliver clinical case management addressing medical, behavioral, social, environmental, and cultural determinants of health, and provide consultation to medical and behavioral health

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from an CSWE-accredited program.
• Active or anticipated licensure (LISW/LCSW/CISW/LMSW) within 9 months of application date.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial and mental health assessments and formulates diagnostic impressions.
• Responds to urgent and emergent mental health and psychosocial crises in clinical, community, and emergent settings.
• Provides clinical case management addressing medical, behavioral, social, environmental, and cultural determinants of health.
• Provides consultation to medical, behavioral health, and administrative staff regarding psychosocial and behavioral health factors impacting patient care.
