Job summary

Center for Justice Innovation in New York seeks a Social Worker for Bronx Community Solutions’ adult intervention program. The role focuses on facilitating brief group interventions, conducting clinical assessments, and linking participants to treatment and support services.

The ideal candidate has LMSW or related degree with 1–2 years of experience, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, strong written skills, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• LMSW or related field with 1–2 years of experience in a related area.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Excellent written skills required; strong communication in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate on-site psychoeducational groups and individual counseling sessions.
• Coordinate clinical assessments and referrals for treatment and other services.
• Provide comprehensive case management for short- and long-term mandated clients.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with multiple agencies and organizations onsite and in the community.
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and trainings.
• Assist with data management, grant reporting, and compliance monitoring.
