MamaCare is committed to providing compassionate, flexible, and evidence-based care to individuals and couples across the life span with a focus on supporting parents through the perinatal period and beyond.

The ideal candidate would have specialized training (through Postpartum Support International or comparable or be open to pursuing such training immediately).

Qualifications

Registered Social Worker or Registered Psychotherapist

Minimum of 3 years of relevant postgraduate work experience

Formally trained and experienced in using one or more of the following modalities: CBT, EMDR, EFT

Training in one or more of the following parenting support modalities: Neufeld's developmental approach or Positive Parenting.

Training in perinatal mood disorders is strongly desired

Must be eligible to practice in Ontario (*do not apply if you are not licensed in ONT)
