About SOMA Therapy Group: SOMA Therapy Group is a comprehensive holistic psychotherapy practice serving clients throughout New York and New Jersey. We provide high-quality virtual therapy services, enabling clients to receive care from the comfort of their homes.

Position Overview: We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our community of mental health professionals. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional virtual therapy services to both individuals and couples, embodying our holistic approach to mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with individuals and couples
• Maintain a case load of 10 - 20 clients (clinician preference)
• Complete thorough clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress
• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers when appropriate
• Maintain knowledge of current therapeutic approaches and best practices
• Adhere to professional ethics and confidentiality standards

Qualifications:

• Current LMSW or LCSW license in good standing in New York
• No minimum years of post-licensure clinical experience
• Experience working with both individuals and couples
• Proficiency in telehealth delivery methods and virtual platforms
• Strong background in holistic therapeutic approaches
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Experience with electronic health records and practice management systems
• Ability to take insurance (UHC & Aetna)
• Instruction on providing consults, screening clients, negotiating pay, and building your case load
