Job summary

Easterseals Southeast Pennsylvania is seeking a Social Worker to provide services in our Philadelphia Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. The Social Worker will support families in navigating community and educational services, and manage referrals to help families begin services smoothly.

The role collaborates with teachers, therapists, and administrators to promote holistic child and family outcomes and advocate for equal access to supports.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Pennsylvania Social Work license (LSW or LCSW) preferred.
• Experience with early childhood, special education, or disability services strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and family engagement skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support families in navigating community and educational services, ensuring access to resources.

• Participate on IEP teams as needed, contributing expertise to service planning and family support.
