Job summary

Catapult Learning, a FullBloom division, invites applications for a part-time Social Worker at Clinton, MD. The role provides targeted counseling across behavioral and emotional needs, 2 days/week totaling about 7 hours weekly, with a focus on student growth within partner schools.

You will collaborate with teachers and families, perform assessments, and link resources to support safe, inclusive school environments. Prior counseling work with students is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in counseling or related field.
• Active Social Worker license – LCSW, LMSW, LGPC or LCPC is required.
• Experience working with students is desired.

• Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
• Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
• Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
• Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
• Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.
