Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Social Worker in Clinton, MD to advocate for students and support their behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development.

This role is 2 days per week, about 7 hours, with scheduling flexibility to align with school needs. You will conduct counseling in small groups and classrooms, complete assessments, connect families with community resources, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling or related field is required.
• Active Social Worker license (LCSW/LMSW/LGPC/LCPC) required or eligible.
• Experience working with students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
• Provide counseling in small groups and classrooms to address academic and behavioral needs.
• Conduct learning assessments to identify strengths and growth areas.
• Refer families to community resources and support services.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and records.
• Stay current with field trends to enhance guidance and support.
• Adhere to Counseling Policy Manual and school procedures.

Play a critical role in supporting the behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development of students. Responsibilities

• Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
• Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
• Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
• Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
• Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
• Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.

Qualifications
