Job summary

Catapult Learning seeks licensed school counselors to provide counseling services within partner schools. You will advocate for students, support behavioral, emotional, and social development, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning atmosphere.

Role offers year‑round and summer opportunities, with options for full‑time or part‑time engagement, and potential for professional advancement within a national organization.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in school counseling or school social work with NYS certification/license (required).
• Experience working with students (desired).

Responsibilities

• Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well‑being.
• Nurture student potential through personalized, small‑group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
• Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
• Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
• Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
• Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.
