Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Social Worker for K–12 settings in Aurora, CO. You’ll provide counseling, crisis support, and collaboration with educators and families to promote student well-being and success.

We welcome both new and experienced clinicians. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k) with company match, and reimbursement for licensure and CEUs. Remote work is not indicated; on-site collaboration at multiple sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development.
• Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed.
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
