The Social Work Fellow, under direct supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor, is responsible for supervised therapy sessions with patients in the Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic. The Social Work Fellow serves as a liaison between patients, physicians, and community resources, as well as assisting in the implementation of the Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN) and the Texas Children's Mental Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT).
Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.
The work schedule for this program is Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Our Social Work Fellow training program is a two-year program. Appointments are made initially for one year, with a second-year re-appointment being at the discretion of the Department. Further continued employment after the end of this two-year program is not guaranteed. Please note: This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding.
