May require evenings and weekends in order to attend events, facilitate training, or provide crisis advocacy/accompaniment on a rotating on-call schedule.
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field plus 2 years of relevant experience is minimally required. A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field is preferred, and additional relevant experience is strongly favored. The position requires knowledge of psychosocial services and a wide range of skills including trauma-informed care, comprehensive case management, public speaking, local resource access, and crisis response. Ability to work on call and under pressure with time constraints. Knowledge and adherence to laws, policies, procedures, and ethical standards of the field, particularly of the Maryland Child Sex Trafficking Screening and Services Act.. Must complete SARC Basic Crisis Response, Hospital Companion Training and Commercial Sex Exploitation-Identification Tool (CSE-IT) Training. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and child protective services clearance.
