Job summary

Overtime is seeking a highly creative content creator to edit social videos and produce content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and more. You’ll shoot and edit original content for multiple shows and partner campaigns, working closely with producers to understand audience trends and maximize engagement.

The role requires mastery of video editing with a strong sports/pop culture palate, a hybrid schedule in the NY area, and a passion for bringing ideas to life from concept to publish.

Qualifications

• Live, breathe, eat social media; manage and post on multiple accounts.
• Excellent video editing for social formats and long-form content.
• Strong understanding of sports culture, memes, and audience trends.
• Detail oriented, with strong proofreading and QC skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit original content for video podcast and studio teams to maximize views.
• Collaborate with producers to tailor content to audience and channels.
• Own post-production workflow and maximize output of creative content.
• Produce original social content including ideation, shooting, editing, and publishing.
• Proofread, spell-check, and QC videos before posting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align content with strategy and sponsors.
