Bleacher Report, part of Warner Bros Discovery, is seeking a Social Programmer II in New York to shape the look and feel of our TikTok channel and lead sports content editing and distribution across platforms. You will curate, edit, and publish engaging clips in real time, write sharp hooks, and help drive growth and voice consistency for BR’s social channels.

The ideal candidate is a passionate sports fan with deep knowledge of NBA and NFL, who lives on TikTok/Instagram/YouTube Shorts, can work

Qualifications

• Strong video editing skills and eye for pacing, especially for short-form social content.
• Ability to write compelling, punchy hooks and captions.
• Deep knowledge of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts style editing and distribution.

• Set the look and feel of Bleacher Report’s TikTok channel.
• Publish identified content immediately to social accounts (primarily TikTok) that you run.
• Edit content to optimize performance on TikTok.
• Set the tone, look, and feel of Bleacher Report’s TikTok presence across platforms.
• Conduct news and social monitoring to identify trends in sports and pop culture.
• Write timely editorial hooks aligned with our social voice.
• Cover sports events and live shows during weekends and nights.

• The Social Programmer II will be responsible for helping set the look and feel of our TikTok channel while helping lead our production and distribution. We’re looking for a sports fanatic and culture junkie with strong video editing skills who knows how to find and distribute engaging sports content in a fast-paced and cross-platform collaborative environment
• Publishing identified content immediately to social accounts (primarily TikTok) that he/she is running independently
• Editing content to optimize performance on TikTok
• Setting the tone, look, and feel of Bleacher Report’s TikTok channel
• News and social media monitoring to identify what is trending in sports and relevant pop culture
• Timely and clean stylized hook writing in line with the social voice of our accounts
• Swift editorial response and decision-making, often without the supervisor’s oversight
• Cover sports events and live shows as they’re happening (weekends/nights)

Content recognition (highlights, UGC) and experienced highlight editing is a majorPassionate sports fanWell-versed in multiple sports, with an emphasis on NBA and NFLExperience growing following and engagement on TikTok. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes TikTok, Instagram and YouTube/ShortsAbility to work nights and weekendsA keen awareness of Bleacher Report’s voice.
